In a statement released yesterday (2.28.14) AID Atlanta announced that they are adding new board members to the organization.
“We are enthusiastic about our young new leaders and the strength of the companies they represent,” said Dr. Jose Rodriguez-Diaz, CEO of AID Atlanta. “We have exciting things planned for the Atlanta region’s response to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and HIV and we are confident that our board will be integral in helping us realize those goals.”
D. Chip Newton of Deloitte Consulting, LLP will assume the role of Chairman of the Board, taking over from Mark B. Rinder, who has acted as AID Atlanta’s Chairman since 2009. Mary Harrison of Attune Inc. is the new Vice Chair; Dr. Collette Hopkins of Families First is an At-Large Executive Committee Member and Governance & Nominations Chair; and Tiffany Roan of Viiv Healthcare is the new Development Chair.
New board members include Bill Warren, Director of Forensic Services – PricewaterhouseCoopers; Alicia Thompson, Senior Vice President of Consumer Brands – Edelman; Charlie Pappas, Vice President of Alliances – Delta Air Lines; and Dr. Kenneth Samuel, Senior Pastor – Victory for the World Church.
